Confident that the AltO class is here to stay, sailors are now buying new boats, knowing that not only is it the racing dinghy they would most like to sail but it’s real value for money, makes it as near an inflation proof investment into dinghy racing classes market as is possible - not surprising when the ‘on the water price’ including cover and trolley, is under £10K.
The organic growth of the AltO Class has shown us that there is not only a desire to turn away from the skiff era and return to more conventional boats, and ones that encompass the latest material and systems as well as being attractive on the water.
